Madhura, at five had an exciting life, a wonderful school, a totally committed best friend Tamil Bharathi and the privilege to follow her domestic help mother, Vani to her workplace; a residential complex called Gulmohar Park.
For Madhura…sitting in that one restricted corner of the kitchen and watching the life of Avantika and Sirish Seth, her mother’s employers; was like a dream come true.
Had it not been for the unusual tragic turn in Madhura’s life, these four people; Vani, Madhura, Sirish and Avantika would have lived their ordinary lives parallel to each other. However, in Madhura’s case, the tragedy wipes all those parallel lines; and life turns cruel as she is taken away from her home to a Shelter for Children.
Will the Seth family look out for Madhura? Or will Madhura remain entangled in the crucial legislations connected to the children under custodial care?
Will Madhura find her Home?
B3/ 703, Gulmohar Park is a journey towards home. It is a story about belonging, connecting with one’s roots; and rediscovering faith. It is all about having that one postal address that you can call “Home”.
