These poems are vignettes of life (or lack of it) as observed by the author, a practicing advocate, with some pathos (and lots of fun) during the key phase of the lockdown from April to June 2020.The poems chronicle life during lockdown as they go about humorously tackling challenges which arose almost on a daily basis confronting every citizen of the country but especially members of the Bar and the Bench.The popularity of these poems when published exclusively in ‘The Leaflet’ led to the poems being widely shared on social media to spread some cheer amid all the fear.In ‘The Locked Down Lawyer’ all the sixty poems can be enjoyed together.Reading them is like taking a walk down memory lane in the company of a sardonic commentator.
