Gumshoe Mania is about a woman whose unfulfilled ambition was once to become a gumshoe – a sleuth in common parlance – snoop after suspects, nab culprits, and live a life of endless excitement. Fortuitously, in her middle years, she finds herself in a situation that prompts her to pursue the vocation of her dreams. Where does her lust for adventure take her and what life-changing encounters is she destined to face? The story cuts across geographical boundaries, from the plains of north India, leaping across the Pacific to the Hawaiian Islands, homing back to the beginning, presenting different facets of human relationships and individual choices
